主讲人：Professor Guodong Sun（美国石溪大学）

讲座人简介：

Guodong Sun is the founding Executive Director of New York Energy Policy Institute (NYEPI), a consortium of 16 universities and national laboratory that was established by the Governor to advise on energy issues important to New York. He is on the Technology and Society faculty, also a Research Professor in the College of Business, and Director of its China Initiatives. He applies insights and tools from engineering, natural science, economics, and management science to address policy issues in energy and environmental systems. His current research is focused on the sustainability and resilience of energy infrastructure, innovation process of energy technologies, and government championship in technology innovation. He is also a member of the World Energy Council (WEC) Knowledge Network on Financing Resilient Energy Infrastructure, New York Resilience Institute for Storm and Emergency. Prior to joining Stony Brook, he was a Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University. He received his doctorate in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and his master’s degree in System Engineering and baccalaureate in Thermal Turbomachinery from Tsinghua University.

孙国栋教授是纽约能源政策研究所（NYEPI）的创始执行董事，该研究所由州长提议成立意在为纽约州提供能源方面的重要建议，研究所由16个大学和国家级实验室组成。孙国栋教授还是商业学院研究教授和中国项目主任。他利用工程、自然科学、经济学和管理科学里面的原理和工具解决能源和环境系统的政策问题。他目前的研究方向是能源基础设施的可持续性和弹性，能源技术的创新过程以及政府在能源创新方面的主导作用。他还是世界能源理事会（融资弹性能源基础知识网络），纽约风暴和紧急弹性研究所成员。他在加入美国石溪大学以前，是哈弗大学肯尼迪政府学院的研究员。他在卡耐基梅龙大学获得工程与公共政策博士学位，从清华大学获得热力涡轮机械学士学位和系统工程硕士学位。
